Co-founder & Director Media Operations
Karen co-founded Mediasmith with Dave Smith twenty-five years ago, where she currently oversees the agency’s Media Operations team. In this role Karen ensures that the Operations team is accurately and efficiently driving all media purchasing, spend tracking, and reconciliation.
Karen’s unique blend of traditional and digital media knowledge also puts her at the forefront of Mediasmith’s investments in research and tools.
Prior to co-founding Mediasmith, Karen was at Hawk Media in San Francisco, where she was involved with all levels of media planning and media management. Her clients included retail, food, B2B, apparel, travel, entertainment, media and technology with needs across all media types.
Karen developed her media expertise with stints at Foote, Cone and Belding, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and Ketchum Advertising.
