Adriana has over 8 years of advertising experience across both media agency and in-house marketing teams. In 2005 she joined Universal McCann on the traditional media planning team for the Microsoft Office account. She quickly became an integrated planner, and over the next 6 years her communications strategy and integrated media planning experience spanned the various product categories and audiences Microsoft had to offer: from Office and Microsoft Business Solutions, to the Xbox Console, Xbox AAA titles, and Zune, to Windows Azure. In 2011 she moved client-side, managing the marketing team and agency partner for the top art & design university in the Nation, Academy of Art University. She learned first-hand the many challenges clients face across all marketing efforts, not just advertising.
Her marketing project management and media planning experience includes: website & social content project management, in-house & 3rd party creative/production project management (print collateral, digital creative, Email/TV/Radio/Search copy, etc.), and media planning & buying across various channels: Digital (Display, Video, Mobile, Email Marketing, Affiliate, SEO, Paid Search) and Traditional (National & Local TV, Consumer Print, B2B Print, Radio and OOH).
Adriana has a degree in Communications with an Emphasis in Advertising from San Diego State University. And, while she is a San Francisco Bay Area native, she has extended family in Brazil and Portugal allowing her to keep her Portuguese & travel skills in shape.
